Herkimer Diamond on Gold

This is a natural Herkimer diamond, from Herkimer, New York.  It is a quartz crystal that naturally grows with points at both sides, double terminated.  It is paired with a faceted piece of black tourmaline, hand wire wrapped on 18K gold.  It is on a durable ball chain with a lobster clasp.  I've been wearing one like this, since I made it!  Simply elegant.
